Friender vs EZ Messenger
By Friender · Published
On this page
EZ Messenger is a Chrome extension from Recovery Amped LLC that automates outreach from your personal Facebook profile. It finds prospects by keyword in Groups, Posts, Reels and People Search, then sends friend requests, intro messages and follow-ups, with split testing on message variations and an AI layer that books calls from the conversation.
Friender is a Facebook organic sales system for the same personal-profile workflow, with a wider surface: prospecting and friend requests, Messenger campaigns and drips, a contact CRM, post scheduling, engagement tracking, link tracking and visual automations.
The two overlap on prospecting and DM outreach. They differ on what happens after the reply, and on how you find out what a plan costs.
Where the two products overlap
Both run as a Chrome extension on a personal Facebook profile rather than a business Page, and both are independent tools that are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. Both search Facebook by keyword to build a prospect list, send friend requests with an attached message, and follow up automatically when a request is accepted.
If your evaluation stops at "find people and message them," these products are genuinely close, and you should compare them on sending controls and on price.

What EZ Messenger does that Friender does not
Two things, and they matter if they are what you are buying:
- AI that books the call. EZ Messenger markets an AI that handles the conversation through to a booked appointment. Friender's AI is a different design: you connect your own OpenRouter or OpenAI key, and it assists with content, message drafting and per-contact analysis. Friender does not run an autonomous closer that books appointments for you.
- Reported message split testing. EZ Messenger compares message variations and reports a winner. Friender varies message wording with spintax and merge fields, which reduces repetition, but that is not the same as a test that hands you a winning script.
If an AI booking agent is the reason you are buying, evaluate EZ Messenger on that capability directly and ask for a live demonstration of it on a real conversation.
What Friender adds after the reply
Outreach creates conversations. Most of the work is what comes next, and that is where the two product scopes separate.
- The contact record. Labels, tags, notes, reminders and a full activity history, so you know where every conversation stands.
- Engagement context. Friender syncs who reacts to and comments on your posts, so warm people are visible instead of buried.
- Content. Scheduling, a calendar, auto post reply and keyword-triggered auto responses, so posting feeds the same pipeline as outreach.
- Measurement. The Link Manager tracks clicks and conversions on your own domain, connecting a Messenger conversation to a confirmed purchase.
- Automations. A visual builder with triggers, actions, delays and yes/no filters, so follow-up sequences run without you.
- List hygiene. Unlimited friend removal with engagement scores, so an aging friends list does not quietly suppress your reach.
Pricing transparency
Friender publishes its plans and prices on its pricing page, so you can read the full feature bundle before you talk to anyone.
EZ Messenger does not publish prices. Its site offers a free trial and names its tiers, and its purchase page directs you to contact the site administrator for a plan. Third-party reviews quote figures well above typical Chrome-extension pricing, but unverified third-party numbers are not facts, and you should not buy on them.
Ask EZ Messenger directly for the current price of the tier you would actually use, the billing term and the renewal terms, then compare that against a published Friender plan with the same workflow in it.
Who should choose what
Choose EZ Messenger if an AI appointment-booking agent is the core of your buying decision, you want reported split-test winners on your opening messages, and you are comfortable with quoted pricing.
Choose Friender if you want the outreach plus the system around it: CRM, engagement history, content scheduling, link and conversion tracking, birthday touches, list cleanup and visual automations, on published pricing you can read before you buy.
A fair way to decide: write down the five things you will do every week. If four of them happen after someone replies, scope matters more than the opening message, and you should compare the CRM and automation surfaces closely.
Questions buyers ask
Is EZ Messenger the same company as ezmessenger.com?
No. The Facebook automation tool is operated by Recovery Amped LLC. The similarly named ezmessenger.com is an unrelated legal support services company, incorporated in 1978, that handles process serving, court eFiling and skip tracing. They share a name and nothing else, which is worth knowing before you search for reviews.
Does Friender have an AI that books calls for me?
No. Friender's AI works from your own OpenRouter or OpenAI key and assists with content creation, message generation and per-contact analysis. It does not act as an autonomous appointment setter. If that capability is your requirement, evaluate it on a live demonstration before you buy any tool.
Can I run both tools on the same Facebook profile?
You can install more than one extension, but stacking two automation tools on one profile multiplies your sending volume, which is exactly what triggers Facebook restrictions. Pick one to own your outreach. If you do run both, throttle them as a single combined budget rather than two independent ones.
What does EZ Messenger cost?
The site does not publish prices. It offers a free trial, names its tiers, and asks you to contact the administrator for a plan. Request the current price for your tier and its renewal terms in writing before comparing.
Which one is safer for my Facebook account?
Neither vendor controls Facebook's limits, so treat any safety promise carefully. What you can compare is the controls each product gives you: sending caps, delays between actions, filters that skip unsuitable profiles, and behavior when Facebook restricts a profile. Friender throttles the request queue, filters profiles before and at send time, and suppresses further requests to a profile Facebook has locked you out of. Ask EZ Messenger which equivalent controls it exposes.
