What can Friender's Birthday Wisher do?

Birthday Wisher lives in the Friender web app and works with your connected Facebook account. Its settings cover three stages:

You can run Birthday Wisher with the sync process or set an automatic run schedule. The schedule includes time-from, time-to, and time-delay controls. Available actions depend on your plan and the Facebook information available to your connected account.

Choose the plan for your birthday workflow

Free includes the rebuilt Birthday Wisher for day-of greetings, alongside the rebuilt Post Scheduler and Friend Disconnector. You can start with a free account and keep the free plan.

Basic, the paid plan, includes birthday wishing too and adds features such as engagement sync, top post performance, and growth analytics.

Advanced adds advanced birthday wishing and birthday follow-ups. Choose it when you want to send an early greeting or continue the birthday conversation afterward. Advanced also includes keyword filtering and spintax.

Pro and Intelligence include the Advanced features. Pro adds tools such as labels, tags, Messenger campaigns, and automations for broader relationship management.

How to set up Facebook birthday messages in Friender

1. Connect Facebook and sync your information

Use Friender with its Chrome extension and your connected Facebook account. The extension is required for sync to read Facebook information. Open the Friender web app and use Sync Now to bring available information into your account.

2. Open Birthday Wisher and choose your timing

Select Birthday Wisher in the web app sidebar. Start with Wish happy birthday for the birthday itself. Choose Message for a private greeting, Make post for a wall post, or both.

If your plan includes advanced birthday wishing, enable Wish birthday in advance and choose the number of days. For a later check-in, enable Birthday wish follow-up and choose its delay separately.

3. Prepare your message and birthday post

Select the message template for each enabled stage. Use the editor's merge-field controls to insert a friend's first name; selecting the field in the editor keeps the token in Friender's supported format.

To prepare a wall post, use + Create post. The birthday post editor includes a title, message editor, and personalization controls. Save the post and select the content you want to use.

Write the greeting in your own voice. Add personal details only when they are accurate for the recipient. A shared template works best when every sentence is suitable for the people receiving it.

4. Choose how Birthday Wisher runs

Select Run Birthday Wisher with sync process if you want it to run with sync. Alternatively, use Set time to auto run Birthday Wisher and configure the time window and delay.

Review your selected templates, enabled stages, and timing before saving. Keep your connected browser setup available for the Facebook actions you have configured.

5. Review replies and continue the relationship

Check your Messenger conversations after birthday greetings go out. Respond to what the person actually says. A reply gives you context for a useful next conversation; the birthday greeting itself is a moment to celebrate them.
